Germany 2017
The G20 Agricultural Chief Scientists met for the sixth time in Potsdam, Germany on 14-15th, November 2017 chaired by Germany as G20 President. Among the 64 participants were delegates from G20 member countries and G20 guests, international institutions of agricultural research, international organizations and international cooperation initiatives.
The event started on 12th, November with a side event on research landscape of agricultural, nutrition and food sciences in Germany facilitated by the German Agricultural Research Alliance (DAFA). A daytrip-excursion to the world’s largest fair for agricultural machinery - the AGRITECHNICA located in Hanover - was organized for the 13th, November including a guided tour, exclusive expert discussions and the international business forum.
