8th FLW Workshop, October 2024, Brazil

In cooperation with our colleagues from Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), the Brazilian Ministry of Social Development (MDS), UN Environmental Program (UNEP), Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), Global Research Alliance (GRA), National Agricultural Technology Institute Argentina (INTA) and experienced local consultants we organised the 8th Regional FLW workshop from October 22 to 24, 2024 in Brasilia/Brazil. Funding was provided by the German Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) through the bilateral Alliance for the Climate, called AgriDENZ.

Our 180 participants represented 17 countries and stakeholders like businesses, associations, national and international NGOs, national, regional and local government, research organisations, consultants, foundations and United Nations Organisations.

The program overview is provided here as well as the detailed program in English and Portuguese. The program included five plenary sessions (October 22-23), four working group sessions (October 23), an exhibition (October 22-23) and an excursion (October 24). The presentations and posters which were given during the workshop can be found in the following - please be aware that the documents are offered in different languages which are English, Spanish or Portuguese according to the speakers´ preference.
